Servants Evangelizing the World, Inc.(SEW) is a mission organization that unites believers from various denominations and churches, to provide both spiritual and economic empowerment. Our intention is to honor our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ by carrying out his command to make disciples of all nations (Matt. 28:19-20)
You too can unite with us to reach people across the globe. We are not limited to a particular denomination or culture but united in Christ. Through your uniting with us we can advance the kingdom.
We have been currently doing missions in Kenya, East Africa. We have conducted mission trips to Kenya consecutively each year since 2002. Our mission teams are from over twenty-five churches in the United States. We have also united with over 60 churches in Kenya. Our main involvement has been with our deep concern for the large number of street children, assisting churches with evangelism, and providing resources for schools. We are also involved with providing economic and spiritual resources in Kibera - the worlds largest slum.
We are very much concerned with and involved in the problem of the large number of street children in Kenya. We have united with orphanages in order to provide resources and to help make sure that otherwise homeless children have a safe shelter and are able to continue their education. In 2007 we will be assisting the Samaritan Childrens Center with establising a home for girls. We will provide financial support as well as resources and supplies needed for education as well as personal items. As always we will also support the boys center.
Last year (2005) God blessed us to begin the first phase of our "Building a Village" project. A church was planted in Nairobi, Kenya under the Leadership of Pastor Abraham Imonje Indeche and his wife, Sis. Rose Imonje. In July 2006 we visited the church and were very pleased at how God has blessed the ministry. This year 15 leaders were commissioned during a special service led by Bishop Aaron Lackey (Temple of Prayer UCOGIC - Fairburn, Georgia - USA) and our leader Elder Nina Blackmon. With the help of our continuous supporters, we were able to bless the ministry by providing funds for the restroom facility and other needs within the church.
Our next mission trip to Africa will be February 25 - March 8, 2008. Our theme will continue to be "Building a Village" as we assist communities in buidling people and spreading the love of Jesus Christ our Lord. We are excited to see how God will lead us and how he will use the ministry of Servants Evangelizng the World in the New Year (2007). But most of all we are excited about how God is already pouring out His Spirit and prepared the Harvest to receive Jesus Christ and the ministry of Servants Evangelizing the World.
